More than 80,000 people have signed a petition urging the city of New York to rename a portion of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue — a stretch that includes Trump Tower — after former President Barack Obama.
If the petition is successful, Trump Tower, the heart of President Donald Trump’s real estate empire and where he maintains a residence, will boast a new address: 725 President Barack H. Obama Ave.

His statement should be, “it will be an honor to live on a street named after a US President, even one with the worst achievement record in our history”

It’s become a big trend in NY to rename things after dead loser Democrats, but nobody uses the new names. The Ed Koch Bridge, the RFK Bridge, the Mario Cuomo Bridge - still the Queensborough, The Triborough, the Tappan Zee.

You know what you won’t find at the end of Obama Avenue?
Anything with Hillary Clinton’s name on it.
And how many of those are phony?
I bet most of them.
We know that Dems cheat in elections, this is trivial in comparison. Nobody goes around checking whether those names belong to real people, and if they do, whether they actually signed that petition.
And even with a petition, the city has no obligation to change the name of a street.
If De Blasio does that then he’s really taking an unintended swipe at Obama.
Obama, being a (closet) Muslim, would be having people literally stepping all over him.
I would consider it an opportunity to be stepping on Obama. Like a shoe being placed upon his image, an insult to him.
