That’s what we’re being told to believe here, on this thread. I remember watching a show on Pablo Escabar showing his ‘prison’, which more looked like a luxury villa, complete with TVs, gourmet food, servants, and girls.
I thought, wow, a Third World jail for the rich and famous. Talk about getting one’s way...glad it doesn’t happen here.
But now we’re told it can happen here and prisoners, or at least their lawyers have the power to control the guards, the type of cell, the monitoring, etc.
Yea, right.
Well, it’s not like he was the most high profile prisoner in the world at the time in the most high profile Federal case at the time. Who would expect any extra care be taken to keep him secure and alive? /s
