A line of prominent dead bodies is likely to attract notice, hence the need to choose wisely.
Take Andrew, for instance. A guy who, if he wanted, had the ways and means to defend himself.
So the prey must have something unique to him that the predator wants/can use (likely not money, I’m thinking access, for example in Andy’s case), and the predator must have a way of keeping the prey from bolting/yapping. I’m thinking in Andy’s case he was caught doing something stupid, truly ensnared by then compounding the stupidity by doing something far worse.
If there are any dead people on Epstein’s guest list, that might give us a clue.
