Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was not on suicide watch in the Manhattan jail where he hanged himself Saturday morning, officials said.

Plourde refused to say whether that meant Epstein had been taken off additional monitoring or whether he had never been getting special attention to make sure he did not kill himself.

It’s important to note that if you were to give a description of the nature and scope of the power of unions, when you get to the part that has traditionally carried the most weight, you’ll be talking about the illicit power.
The part they have to keep hidden. That they can’t announce publicly. The stuff they’re terrified of being revealed.

I hear you, but don’t know how much it cost them to off Epstein, or even if they did it. There were plenty of other big names with motive to silence Epstein.

True. Assuming he did try to kill himself before. The marks on his neck I heard were thumbmarks (as if someone else did it).
The law only applies when the prosecutor decides to apply it.
