There is an open carry group in Detroit that walked around a few years ago and got people all wound up. I think the police came but they were legal so no charge.
They were a bunch of idiots led by a blogger/youtuber and Freeper who accomplished nothing but to make respectable firearm owners look like idiots.
Michigan has for almost forever been an open carry state but was never realized until we became a "shall issue" state around 2001 or 2002........
