Hard to tell for sure but maybe. He could have borrowed someone else’s catch for the photo. Notice the other picture, with the double hand sign (peace signs or something else?).

Not exactly a hillbilly gesture or hillbilly garb. The Antifa looking mask is a little off from local apparel. Turkey hunters east of Springfield wear camo instead of black masks.

And his name alone would make locals in the area to the east of Springfield (the Ozarks) somewhat suspicious of him, even now.

I grew up in Missouri, I may be old school but I don’t remember anyone engaging in much horseplay with the catch, my Dad was always so serious about handling animals and fish in a respectful way... But that was before selfies and social media, we had no one to show off to.

This is interesting... From wikipedia

In a cooperative scientific effort in the early 1970s between the US Fish & Wildlife Service and its former USSR counterpart, American paddlefish were imported into the former USSR for aquaculture, beginning with five-thousand hatched larvae from Missouri hatcheries in the United States. They were introduced into several rivers in Europe and Asia, and provided the first broodstock that were successfully reproduced in 1984–1986 in Russia.[29] —— https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paddlefish

His name is Ukrainian. His sweetheart is also from liberal lalaland, Portland, Oregon, looks much older than he does. They married not long ago. He shows up to ‘test’ Walmart for gun rights? Why? Why not call their corporate HQ to voice support for their standing firm or anger for chickening out instead? It’s a private business they can support the 2nd Amendment or not. Whether they keep selling weapons or not is not a constitutional issue. But he chooses to do this at the sane time a loony left group launches a campaign to get Walmart to sell weapons. instead of grabbing a little ol’ Marlin squirrelly rifle with a black walnut stock he chooses something that’ll really trigger the media and get negative attention. To make things even more improbable he thinks he needs to dress like the other shooter, take along ammunition and lots of it...more than we ever took on a hunt... And he decides a vest is the way to go as well. I call bullshit on this being just some dumb kid standing up for the 2nd. He’s bound to be an activist , like the DNC’s Ukrainian official Chalupa.
