Yeah, technically speaking, Thomas Jefferson was closer to being the originator of the Deep State. Let’s also not forget that he aided and abetted the Jacobin cause, directly wrote the disastrous “Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen”, and actually arranged for lynch mobs to burn John Jay in effagy over his signing of the Jay treaty, not to mention the Midnight Appointees to the Supreme Court. And apparently he tried to demand for Tories to be shot on sight and even demanded for a judge to have high crimes and misdemeanors to be invoked on him for mere drunkeness.
And no, Hoover definitely wasn’t the originator of the Deep State. Do you really think he’d fight against Communism if he were Deep State? For goodness sakes, the Left utterly HATES him for trying to take down Communism, and Communism’s one and the same with the Deep State. If anything, if he were the Deep State, he’d be openly singing praises for Communism.
