I don’t think Newsom commuted the death sentences. He just suspended them during his term of office.

It doesn’t really matter, as the powers that be on the Left Coast have been doing everything possible to indefinitely delay executions. There are some men on death row who have been there since the early 1980’s.

This monster will probably go to San Quentin and sit in a single cell for the next 40-50 years until he dies of old age. The guards will need to keep a very close eye on him, though, as he is extremely vicious and hates police and other authority figures. And as we saw the other day, he basically hates everyone. Given the chance, he’ll kill in a minute.
