Now reading the article.
WAY DOWN. In paragraph 12.
PARAGRAPH 12 !!!!!!!!!
Reads the following:
"Aldaoud was born in Greece after his family fled Iraq. Unlike the United States, Greece doesnt recognize birthright citizenship, so Aldaoud was still considered an Iraqi citizen, even though he had never been there. "
--
The guy was not American.
NOT AMERICAN.
Why was he even in America?
You just do not live somewhere, if you are not authorized.
You don't.

Immigration officials, though, paint Aldaoud as a repeat criminal who violated court orders. iCE officials in Detroit, in a statement to The Post, say had 20 criminal convictions between 1998-2017, including several violent charges, and that he cut off a GPS device he was supposed to wear while on release from immigration custody.
(His) immigration case underwent an exhaustive judicial review before the courts affirmed he had no legal basis to remain in the U.S., ICEs Detroit office said in a statement, adding that he was sent back to Iraq with a full complement of medicine."
interesting case, but the implication of the story that is is OUR problem:
How should this be OUR problem..?
How much did all his legal troubles cost the taxpayer? Deportation was good for the gene pool.
“interesting case, but the implication of the story that is is OUR problem:
How should this be OUR problem..?”
Yeah, just like $hithead Smith on Fox yesterday “decrying the raids” on the chicken processing plant in Mississippi ( I think). He was all teary-eyed over the “little Mexican boy,” watching his mother get on a bus to be deported. What needed to happen was the kid and his daddy needed to get on the bus with her. I mean we should “be keeping families together,” right?
This BS that somehow once you’re here, “it’s disruptive to your f*cking life” to be forced to go back where you came from because you decided to break into our country.
Surely, they couldve cured him?
Everyone’s got a sob story.
We should not extend citizenship to children of foreigners.
The entire world is in agreement that any human has some form of citizenship, depending on rules of various countries. And if any country refuses or rejects their own citizens, wealthy countries take in truly displaced persons as an act of kindness.
This guy was an Iraqi citizen. Period. And he was not thrown out of Iraq. Greece never accepted him. He apparently was not a refugee here, either.
The sad tale of him having diabetes and dying is horrible. But that happens to citizens of any country as well. He was where he was not supposed to be.
Its not as tragic when people disobey the global rules and then bad things happen. You have to do it officially.
This is BS that somehow once youre here, its disruptive to your f*cking life to be forced to go back where you came from because you decided to break into our country.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hear, hear.
Deport them all and keep families together.
In the USA, he was an officially insane, diabetic CHRONIC CRIMINAL:
His illness induced him to break into a residence and steal tools..?
He was Iraqi. He made a choice by committing crimes. There were consequences.
Again, I don’t understand how we’re bad when we got rid of this insane, needy chronic criminal.
I feel sorry for the way he ended up, but he was a criminal and not a citizen.
The feel gooders will use this to keep more criminals from deportation.
For the same reason the Washington Post told us the death of Jamal Khashoggi was our fault.
So?
