The Red Flag issue will take years and years to get straight so our right to own a gun is not infringed...I bet that poll is Fake News....President Trump would never let your right to own a gun be infringed...this POTUS takes his job to honor and protect you and our Constitution from all enemies etc.. etc. very seriously. It is Chicago that should worry the nation...

I do not believe this poll.

It was probably promoted by liberal websites, advising their readers to say they own guns and will not vote for Trump.

They are publishing these polls to dishearten and discourage Trump voters from actually voting in the real election.

Let them all be surprised on election day, when we reelect Pres. Trump for a second term.

The most important thing is to ignore news and polls, good or bad, and just make sure to get out and vote for Trump for a second term.

My impression is that such a law would barely get out of the starting gate before a challenge or lawsuit against it would be filed, as it would likely be in violation of not just the second but other amendments as well. This is what took place with the Brady Bill.

The vast amount of civil servants - notably within the judicial industrial complex - are leftists. That means that the people who will be judging whether you and I are a threat to the community are the same people who want to kill us.

No sale for me.

What laws do you think we are going to get with a Dem president and Dem Congress?

“I’m hoping he comes around on these “red flag” laws.”

Republicans will change it to a mental health issue. And the Democrats will have to go on record.

That’s the set up.

What do you mean no mechanisms?

Looking at the Maryland law... The red flag law covers this particular issue.

If a petitioner is found to be making false claims or embellishing the truth, they could face perjury charges and jail time.

“A petition must also… be signed and sworn to by the petitioner under penalty of perjury,” the law reads.

This is a joke, those red flag laws surely should be carried out in the courts, for sure.

A simple report of you are dangerous needs proof and court things.

Many exes use this.

Just today I read a story where police were coming for his guns and after a swat he killed himself.

This happens every election. “I’m going to stay home and not vote and let (in this case Biden, Harris or Sanders) be the president. Then people will learn and we’ll win the next election.” This time there won’t be another election after 2020 if we lose.

Online polls are worthless.

They will vote for the dems instead?

**************************************
No. You just don’t vote. I live in Massachusetts and we have a de facto liberal Democrat as governor masquerading as a Republican. I haven’t voted in the last two who gubernatorial elections. It’s all contingent on what Trump actually signed into law whether or not I would stay home. A year from now I will also be coupling it with whether or not I think he was actually serious about illegal immigration as the numbers have soared since he’s been into office and also whether or not anybody has actually paid a price for trying to overthrow our government. The last one, trying to overthrow the government, is probably the most important. If nothing has happened on that then all bets are off as to if there’s any justice left in this country at all and we are all just pawns in some kind of absurd game.
