She has actually diagnosed the problem better than any other Democrat I’ve seen.
I only read the excerpt, and I think she has a point. It’s a bit simplistic but at least she’s in the right place.
Unfortunately I think we’d have different opinions on what “moral center” actually means. As others said, most of us have a moral center, a moral compass, principles that guide our decisions.
Right now, the left and the media are completely off the rails, unhinged. All we really have to work with are anecdotes and statistics, but the left leads with idle speculation and pronounced judgments of culpability - without evidence and without measure. They are incapable of being a productive part of any sort of rationale examination of any problems at this point. To them it is all a game of political advantage. Truly dismaying.
