They should at least also be held financially accountable for defending what they absolutely know to be wrong and guilty action.

Kid I grew up with was very happy and proud that he became a Baltimore police officer. I asked him why, “Because I get to slam N****rs against walls!”. He enjoyed this until he received a full retirement. One of Baltimore’s finest that didn’t help the whole situation we are in right now one bit...

A lot of psycopaths are attracted to occupations such as Police and military.

I would have asked why he punched her in the face and slammed her on the ground. Also, why did you expose your groin to a handcuffed woman? and pee in this cup now.

DID HE FAIL THE PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION BEFORE HE WAS HIRED?

“I hope he is charged with felony assault.”

Hope in one hand and poop in the other and see which fills up first.

Can you imagine having to deal with Beto O’Dork, Joe Bite Me, Mad Max, Nadler, Schiffy Schifft and a host of others like them day in and day out on your job? We ask a great deal from law enforcement. This cop should be moved out of his current role, because it got to him. There are other areas of law enforcement he could serve that don’t involve handling criminals.

Someone once told me that if you work in a cesspool, over time you don’t notice the stink. Law enforcement must take particular necessary care of themselves.

I was told this by a state police officer once.

The top in the class cadets from the state police academy typically go to work for the State police. The next highest get hired by the bigger cities and large towns. The cops at the bottom of the class are typically hired by the small towns. So, many of these small town cops have a chip on their shoulder and they are not very smart.

When I graduated from Syracuse in 1985 the NYS police force was interviewing on campus. Back then you had to be 6’ tall. If I was taller, I might be retired now with a NYS pension. I had a buddy whose Dad was a Colonel on the force. I could have gotten a letter on recommendation from him. If only I was 2” taller.

“Police business is a hell of a problem. It’s a good deal like politics. It asks for the highest type of men, and there’s nothing in it to attract the highest type of men. So we have to work with what we get...”

One of the cops had the nerve to say... that was stupid.

Woman was left with quite the shiner.

Lots of departments in my area short of officers, begging for applicants who are certified and very few wanting to send anyone for certification. They recently hired a 65 yr old retired former officer and he essentially TOLD them I work 8-5 monday-friday and they let him. The rest of the department is working 12 hr shifts and lots of overtime and are not happy.

My son is working with on of these, “he’s certified, hire him!” officers. He talks to himself, I mean he tells the other officers, I’m thirsty and getting something to drink and then next words are to himself, yeah WE are thirsty lets get a MT. Dew or I’m sleepy, yeah WE need a nap to himself. He’s been to Iraq and Afghanistan except his record shows he hasn’t. He’s been removed as and SRO twice in the last 12 months, alarm bells going off with everyone but administration... Lots of the other officers are wondering if they need to call for a padded truck.

This thug should be prosecuted and never allowed near a badge again. She was handcuffed, when she lunged at him he could defend himself, but pushing her and slugging her, not acceptable.

While economic realities need to be accounted for, certain professions were always supposed to be about ‘service’ not money. Military, police, and first responders all fall into that mold. Why? because to be honest, it doesn’t take a PHD level education to fill the positions, though it does take good moral character, good work ethic, a good aptitude, and a certain eagerness to learn the skills required.

Unfortunately, some people with the requisite skills are driven by ego. That is where you get the young rookie who gets high on the power trip of ‘bustin n*****s’ or running lights with the patrol car. Its not the majority, but the good 90% need to weed out the bad, and that’s doesn’t happen enough.

Yeah, one that the victim’s family’s lawyer should ALWAYS ask, then sue the pants off anyone who signed off on the hire for gross criminal negligence resulting in the death of an innocent person.

Wouldn’t take long for word to get around and the people who would inflict a known psychopath on their community and give him or her a gun will think twice about losing everything they own and their careers for enabling a wrongful death.

In a matter of a few years, police departments would be smaller, but less dangerous to the average citizen or dog...
