I’m hesitant to even mention this because it might come across as trying to justify what the El Paso shooter did, but there is something called the “Reconquista movement” which is a political movement by Hispanics to claim much of the western half of the US and place it under rule of the Mexican government. They want to establish and area called Aztlan.
I’m not making this up, it’s been around a long time and pushed by organizations like La Raza. It’s out there, people can look it up themselves. Google it. Google images Aztlan and you’ll see the area they want to control.
I’m not saying all of the people coming across the border are part of this movement or even know anything about it, but there are people using them to accomplish their ends. It’s something that’s ignored but should be talked about. Their plan is to get enough people elected to office to enact their plans.
As a Native American I find it offensive because they are trying to claim land that was never theirs, it belonged to the North American tribes therefore these folks have no standing to claim it as their traditional lands.
