Those Kurdish groups don’t have the death penalty.
The group in that prison camp includes the hard core of ISIS - lots of senior leaders and specialists. There is a huge contingent of non-Arab foreign jihadis, including those from the former Soviet Republics (like Chechens), many of whom are Russian speakers.
I don’t see a problem to review a death penalty issue.
