Like they say with other school and club shooters: If he wanted to kill himself in a hail of gunfire, why didn’t he start with killing himself and save innocent people from dying later?
His father admitted to being a 40 year heavy druggie and drunkard. It used to be said that the children of mothers who had those issues could cause a lot of problems in their children.
Then at some point they discovered that substance abuse fathers could also damage the embryos of their children. Likely it took some time to get to the father influence because young women with strong eggs were not being damaged by the dads. But as women are sometimes older when they conceive, the father’s problems are more likely to damage their children.
That is even before the children are born, but of course having a drunken druggie for a dad is not good parenting for a child all through the formative years.
