Maybe not so odd. Less Americans, less Social Security, less Federal financial outlay.
Same with homosexual marriage. An unhealthy lifestyle that could lead to many being dead before they are even eligible for Social Security.
Maybe it’s cheaper (in their minds) to support both than pay out 10-15-20 years of Social Security x _______ number of Americans. (I’m not saying I agree at all. I’m saying perhaps there are calculations in a nation of $22 trillion in debt and unfunded liabilities that dwarf even that).
TPTB may have decided this is “fiscal responsibility” or some sort. /adjusts tinfoil hat
And whadday know, liberal websites like Yahoo want people to WAIT until they start collecting Social Security.
Because, after all, THEY (politicians and the liberal mainstream media) REALLY care about YOU and ME.
