Federal death penalty for what? These murders are a state crime and I believe both Ohio and Texas have the death penalty on the books. I’m sure that Texas is more than capable of executing the murderer from El Paso. As for Ohio, the police took care of that.

Yep, Texas is more capable of imposing and ACTUALLY CARRYING OUT the death penalty than the federal government is, IMHO.

TRUE.- Left to our own devices, a Texas jury will hear the case, bring back a GUILTY verdict, will sentence the MASS MURDERER to death & (hopefully) before too long he will be DEAD. - We Texicans neither need nor want any federal “assistance” in dealing with the mass murderer.

Btw, had the “OH, so ‘wunnerful, wunnerful’ FBI” told our Rangers that they KNEW that the MURDERING SWINE was “likely dangerous” to Texas residents, our DPS intelligence division & our Rangers might have stopped him before he committed “the horror story at Wal-Mart”.

Fwiw, every day that passes, I have less & less trust in the federal government’s ability to do anything well and/or efficiently.

Yours, TMN78247

The PoS in custody now will have his oxygen license revoked around 2021-2022, the way things work in this state.

No hanging out on death row for a couple of decades of appeals, like Kali or Floriduh... We even did away with the “last meal” thing a few years ago, as the requested meals were getting outrageous.

“Federal death penalty for what?”

Murdering more than two people in a single event.

Many states do not have, or do not have an EFFECTIVE death penalty.

The Feds do.
