I tell you in depressing rooms back then women wore a lot more undergarments
Stocking and girdles and slips...

The irony is Ive never quit shopping for womens clothes for my women ever since in some of those same stores now
My wife even has a card for one....and its a very very very dangerous card
Speaking of shopping, Im very sad that Henri Bendel closed down, I loved that store. If I love a store or restaurant, it invariably closes down before very long, or else makes some drastic change in the opposite direction to why I loved it to begin with. I didnt know that Bendel was about to close, some intuition made me make a large buy on purses, weekend bags, accessories, the like, right before they closed.
BTW, to what does your tag line refer, if I may ask? I already know that I likely support whatever stance it refers to, as you and I have like views on matters Southern.
Oh, and lol at the cheek-pinching-I dont seem to notice that older relatives do that to the young uns anymore.
Im so sorry you were dragged shopping with your mom, but shopping for your wife is a whole entirely different thing! Knowing you, Im sure thats one extremely pleasurable experience.
Personally, I like to shop for myself, by myself. For one thing, my husband feels about shopping the way mrsmels husband feels about it. Plus, I like to surprise him. ;)
