Mexico's Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Sunday that Mexico will take legal actions to protect its citizens in the United States, following a shooting in El Paso, Texas, that left 20 dead, including three Mexicans. "The president has instructed me to ensure that Mexico's indignation translates into... efficient, prompt, expeditious and forceful legal actions for Mexico to take a role and demand that conditions are established that protect... I am not sure right now but I know that Mexico has sometimes had the highest murder rate in the world.

Also among the most stringent gun control laws in the world.

This is the same Mexico, which has limited control over their own country, with drug cartels in control in many areas?????

The Mexican government needs to work hard to keep their people from traveling to the dangerous US and bring home those that are here. As far a legal action, maybe they should work to have gun free zones banned so people can legally defend themselves from these murderers.

Is this the same Mexico that doesn’t protect Americans visiting Mexico? From corrupt cops, crooks, drug cartel-employed killers, etc.

Asking for a friend...

Good for Mexico, protecting its citizens, albeit for the first time.i guess that means it’s ok for America to protect Americans.
