They are apparently willing to fall on their swords to protect AOC by distancing themselves, albeit a tad late.
At this point, the Justice Democrats don’t need Chakrabarti micromanaging her. They’ve built up a support staff for her, and she can still be guided on what to do by phone and email (just use a burner or an encrypted message if it’s something that should stay hidden).
AOC was a big success for the radicalization of the Dem Party through focused attention on primaries. Time to fool another district.
“They are apparently willing to fall on their swords to protect AOC by distancing themselves, albeit a tad late”
These two were the brains of the outfit. But I doubt Washington DC is lacking any leftist Puppet Masters to take their place.
AOC's frickin' around tax dollars for staff salaries appear to be very calculated. She went from slobbing bar spills into Congress wearing $2000 outfit, $600 shoes, baga and watches. She's a typical liberal hypocrite----- never mentions how she manipulated policy in the US Congress to get her boyfriend on the govt gravy train. Digging reveals suspicious payments to AOCs boyfriend began early.
FACTS ON FILE
<><> Absent a waiver from House Ethics, family members have to be volunteers to get official house.gov email addresses,
<><> AOC's boyfriend got a govt email address immediately
<><> AOC doesnt believe in having unpaid govt workers; according to her COS they have no office volunteers.
<><> So boyfriend Roberts is designated as staff but also isnt "officislly" on AOCs staff,
<><> yet Roberts showed up in the House directory as processing into AOC's personal office as a staffer.
That explains why AOC was so determined to pay "volunteers"---she and the b/f would richly benefit.

The NY POST also reported that her campaign organization "Brand New Congress PAC" paid Ocasio-Cortezs boyfriend, Riley Roberts, for marketing services after the PAC was hired by her campaign. Using the third-party PAC to pay her boyfriend may have violated campaign-finance laws, a lawyer for the Coolidge Reagan Foundation told The Post. It is totally legal, as a candidate, to hire family members, people you know to work for you. But they didnt do that, said Attorney Dan Backer. Instead of paying him directly, they paid him through an intermediary in order to obscure the fact that they paid him. The FEC should investigate and find out if thats the case. Thats the allegation, Backer added. The FEC is to investigate if the campaign violated finance laws that state campaign contributions shall not be converted by any person to personal use.
