Texas doesn't have party registration.
You can't be a registered Democrat, Republican, Green, etc. in Texas
Where did you come up with the BS? I live in Texas. And I'm a registered Republican.

I live in Texas too, I’m looking at my current voter registration card and it does NOT say anything about being registered as Republican or Democrat.

When you vote in a Dem or Pub Primary in TX, they will ask if you want your card stamped. Then if there is a run off, you can vote in the run off for which your card is stamped.
