Sam's Club CEO, Rosalind Brewer, is no longer at Sam's Club after she said (and, many other things) that diversity was more important to her than stock holders.
(She is now the COO of Starbucks)

Yep. And as his company is using market capital, he should be charged with crimes for intentionally disregarding his fiduciary responsibilities.

When corporate executives of publicly traded companies use company funds to further their own political and philosophical ideologies, they are stealing, just the same as if they embezzled money.

In fact, it is embezzlement and criminal fraud. And even if no criminal charges are ever brought on these corporate execs, shareholders should file civil suits for breach of fiduciary duties. These thieves should not be allowed to run away with their golden parachutes after looting companies like this.
