Just how does one trust a person whose religion says lying to those of another religion is OK and so is murdering that person?
These are actually the most dangerous. When the time comes, their survival will depend on convincing their fellow Muzz that their ‘indiscretions’ were Taqiyya and infiltration. Maybe some of them convert, but I wouldn’t give them much credit for merely ‘sinning in the eyes of Islam’.

What is a moderate muslim? I taught terrorist tatics and weapons for the military and I only know three categories of muslim existence:
Purest (quietists) who do not play politics but are the main supply point for funds, property, and shielding the other two with claims of religion of peace.
Activists who openly get involved in politics and also supply funds and information.
Jihadists who form a small minority and are most active in carrying out the most violent of the attacks on humanity.
There is no such thing as a “moderate” muslim as they can cross over into any of the three categories easily and often depending on needs and availability. And most have.

It's more than that. In Islam, there is ONLY ONE guaranteed way to have all your sins forgiven and get into Paradise:
