I am dismayed at the number of conservatives who embrace the global warming fraud.

I believe some do it because they want to appear "moderate".

For some, they're simply too lazy to educate themselves on the counter argument.

I have a great concern that VP Pence has simply drank the koolaid.

So people in developed countries contribute far more to this “problem” than people stuck in third world hell holes, so why do we want to let them cross the boarder where they make the problem so much worse. Close the boarders to save the planet.

I care not whether they believe in AGW. It is just that they want to legislate a solution. A very costly and freedom-killing solution.

Their purpose is to destroy civilization as we know it and then build it up again as a communist totalitarian dictatorship with all religions eliminated except you know which one (the religious totalitarian dictatorship).

At no point in the transition would the ruling elite ever suffer one bit for even one second.

I'm going for a combination of options two, "moving to the North or South Pole", and three, "plotting the destruction of half the human beings on the planet."

Outside of Seattle, the rest of Washington state is conservative, and perfectly suited to simply sitting back, and shooting any slimy Leftist turd who demands that we "share" what we've earned.

When they lose the next election, and go full anti-Constitution, there will be drifts of Communist bodies in the streets.
I might have found it depressing, back when. However, considering the last 10 years of Democrat driven hatred, it's more like a natural acceptance of a natural progression of stupid losing to intellect.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

The AGW debate, more than anything, demonstrates the politicization of science, and the growth of celebrity science.

Science is supposed to be about finding the truth, without bias. It is supposed to be impervious to agenda, impervious to the personal beliefs of the scientist(s), and more importantly - impervious to the fame and fortune potentially gained by the scientist(s).

Today, all over the world, this has ceased to be true. Science is now primarily about sensationalism, publishing the 'hot' new 'story', getting as many grants as possible, being 'connected', getting in the print or broadcast news, traveling the world as a 'recognized' scientist - eating fine dinners and drinking fine wine paid for by your hosts. It's truly become a joke, and needs very serious reform.

This is why, after two decades of hype about 'growing new hearts with stem cells' (including many posts about this here on FR) there are still no effective stem cell therapies to regenerate hearts, the scientist who led the charge in this area has had 31 published papers retracted for falsified data, and the government halted a cardiac stem cell clinical trial for the same reason.

Less than 50% of all published scientific papers are ever cited even once in the literature. So much for contributing to the ongoing cumulative knowledge of humanity.

The same is true of climate science, and the 'celebrity' climate 'scientists' will not let go of their stature and celebrity easily.

"I think Al Gore was just in it for the money. I think the other two are sincere."

Cortez once admitted that 'climate change' is a good platform for advancing socialism. So no, I don't think she's sincere. I don't think she's been sincere about anything her whole life.

Wonder if O'Rourke or Cortez have seen this graphic?

Not one climate change prediction made in the last 50 years has come true.

You want the truth? There it is.

naaah...the “brilliant” political and military minds who believe a nuclear war has any outcome other than planetary
obliteration are the greatest threat.

That particular idiocy crosses the political spectrum BTW
