Rats seem to descended to gutter tactics. Stalled 7 weeks on Graham’s asylum bill in Judiciary Committee. They blockaded everything out of committee?

OK. Got some district court judges through. Need to push through more of those - waive blue slips for district court nominees too.
Also, there are 5 outstanding Circuit Court seats to be filled. Ram those through ASAP.

Now that most of the circuit court judges have been confirmed, things are accelerating for the district court judges.
McConnell's effort to confirm 19 new judges this week was opposed by
The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. The 6 not confirmed this week are scheduled for confirmation as soon as the Senate returns in September.

But later headline “California district judge rules all the other judges this week did not have legal confirmation.” (kidding)

Yes, there are 667 authorized district court judgeships. Donald Trump has gotten 99 district judges confirmed (almost 15%). There are still 97 district court vacancies left to fill. Plus, about 4 judges die, retire or choose senior status every month. The President at his rally in Cincinnati on Thursday said that another 31 judges may be confirmed "within about 2 months".

From the uscourts.GOV page there are 34 nominees waiting for a Senate vote. 20 of those are from blue states with 2 rat Senators. Due to honoring blue slip for district judges expect most of those 20 to be rat legislate from the bench types.

That loathsome toad Carter sure got a lot of judges appointed for a one-termer. Must be nice to have a cooperative Senate.

How many WH nominees for ckt court have been stockpiled until this recess. Need to see ckt nominees ASAP so senate staff can start vetting in August.
First up is 5th (dump Ozerden), 9th (Oregon vacancy), and the two from the 2nd. Two 9th said they are leaving active and one more is close to 80 yr old. Three age 80 in 7th, one in 11th, and one in 8th.
So 12 nominees needed by September. Ckt vacancies should be prioritized for balance of 2019 IMO.

Carter benefited from the newly created 11th for easy vacancies to fill.

Wiki (ha ha ha) says the 11th Circuit was created in October 1981. Jimmy Carter ceased defiling the Oval Office in January 1981.
