"Why did he shoot at it?"

Only a warning shot, he was careful not to hit the dog. /xs

“Somebody isn’t going to take kindly to it one of these days.”

Already happened. Can’t find the story but a man shot the Chief of Police after he ordered one of his cops to enter a back yard and shoot the dog.

If The pu$$y cops are so afraid of dogs maybe they need to invest in some of these: https://www.bite-pro.com/arm-guards/bitepro-bite-resistant-arm-guards-version-3

This is the reason the TV show Lasie has not been remade.

Every time Timmy fell into the well and Lasie went running & barking for help, Lasie would end up being shot.

Yep — depending on dog-size, you’d be on the ground before you knew it.

Sounds like he could use it.

What the heck is going on in Arlington?

snip

ARLINGTON
Jackie Lee answered her phone Monday and heard news that left her shocked,
even if it wasn’t unforeseeable.

Her ex-son-in-law, Edward Rogers Jr., 66, had apparently killed his
24-year-old wife, Alyssa Marie Mejia Rogers, and stuffed her body into
a freezer in the garage of his Arlington home. The person who called
Lee was Edward Rogers’ son in California. He had spoken to his father
earlier, when he confessed that he had killed Alyssa Rogers more than
a week earlier.

“She was in the freezer for eight days,” said Lee, 71, of Fort Worth

And fire whatever moron hired and/or trained him.

See post #54.

Her survivors should sue the department, and make double damned sure their lawyer gets his pre-hire psyche evaluation.

If it is as bad as some of the ones Dr Cole did and they hired him anyway, that's gross criminal negligence resulting the loss of innocent human life.

Break the back of that police force and the city. Bankrupt the county, the city, and the hiring manager personally.

The message needs to be sent LOUD AND CLEAR, hire a known psychopath, give him or her a gun, and your agency and those government layers above your agency AND you PERSONALLY will be held fully accountable!

If killing a K-9 officer is a felony then killing a person’s family member who is also a dog should also be a felony unless a life is threatened. Police should not be immune from being prosecuted and taken to civil court to pay damages for killing the family member in cold blood.

The shooter is responsible for anything that the bullet does after he pulls the trigger.

“Sad, what law enforcement has degenerated into.”

Indeed. The link only adds to the degeneracy, and if they don’t get control of the statisics, it is only going to get worse.

Heaven forbid I am insensitive, but police forces are now required to hire 5’2 Pygmy one-legged gays.

That the poor woman was shot while the cop was aiming at a dog isn’t surprising. How often do we read about a shootout where the cops fire a hundred times and hit their target maybe three or four times ...

I have not seen what breed the dog is.

If it is a large dog or of a breed with a high propensity to be vicious, as a German Shepard, Doberman, Chow, or Pit Bull, I would be shooting too.

To have hit the woman and kill her, is tragic.

If the dog was a mini lap dog, the defense is a good kick to the face or chest of the dog.
