No Kennedy jokes. She was 22. No Kennedy jokes? I was sitting no more than 20 feet from Michael Skakel when I heard him state...UNDER OATH...that "two black guys" killed Martha Moxley...and that their live in tutor killed Martha Moxley....and that *his own brother* killed Martha Moxley.
I've also had the opportunity to talk to Dorothy Moxley for a couple of minutes.
No Kennedy jokes?????

She didn’t kill Martha Moxley, just a relative of hers. It’s a wicked family, but she didn’t ask to be born into it. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was driven to it by their depravity. Although JFK was a tax-cutting cold warrior, and grampa Robert was a die-hard McCarthy-ite. But the shame of Uncle Teddy and William Kennedy Smith, and the guy who boinked his kids’ baby sitter then skiied into a tree probably weighed on her.

I remain amazed that Skakel spent any time behind bars. I can’t speak to his innocence or guilt, although I did read about the case around the turn of the millennium, but I thought he’d skate even if guilty the way Ted Kennedy did for Mary Jo Kopechne’s death.

[No Kennedy jokes? ]
When the Lyin’ of the Senate croaked, there were a ton of jokes at his expense on Marketwatch. One that got by the censors suggested that if the Kennedys were part of Camelot, then Mary Jo Kopechne must be the Lady of the Lake.
