I think he thinks the tariffs on China are a longer term problem for the economy, which if it causes a downturn will hurt Trump’s reelection chances. That’s why he’s supportive.

China is making a mistake dragging this out. Decisions are being made about sourcing that will hurt for years even if they come to the table tomorrow.

I think he thinks the tariffs on China are a longer term problem for the economy,Tariffs are in the long term GREAT for the US economy and raise a lot of revenue! It is the best LONG term strategy there is. THAT IS WHY THE REST OF THE WORLD PRACTICES MERCANTILISM.
