Apparently that would upset the republicans in congress so I am told here anytime I bring it up.

A NAM was really just a consolation prize for the losing litigators after a case that will likely have a negative overall impact on their careers. Were it I, I would have asked my superior to forgo an award for this performance. Sad that the POTUS has to be the leader who shuts this off.
Had they won convictions on any core charges, they would all be getting NCMs or higher and looking toward early promotions, while the junior enlisted LN’s would be getting NAMs.

“No matter the result, we were right to prosecute [Gallagher],” the Regional Legal Service Office’s chief of staff noted, according to a motion obtained by the publication.
The above just strikes me. “We were right to prosecute.” A very defensive position.
Isn’t there a better response like “justice as been served.”
did the defense attorneys also get Achievement awards? That would be telling.
