Leaking is a relatively minor offense that is commonly done by essentially everyone in Washington D.C.

Lying to a FISA Court judge is quite another matter. I fully expect that they will get Comey for that. If they fail to do so there will be ZERO RussiaGate prosecutions.

This one is a slam dunk and precedent setting. In the future do we really believe it will be OK to lie to the Fisa Court? I don’t think so.

But the leak is just no big thing. IMHO.

If we do not prosecute and convict on abuse of Fisa Warrant application and use, no one in this country will be safe. Further, convictions pursuant to application and use of that warrant should be overturned.IMHO

Hard to see anybody prosecuted for lying to the FISC if the court itself does not care that it was lied to. Any such prosecution would be attacked as political without court sanctions and the GOP would abandon POTUS in less time than I can type this. Sadly, given that cover by the court it’s easy to see no prosecutions for FISA abuses.
