But we don’t have to wait six months to see a doctor.

Their lack of logic is completely baffling. They want anyone to be able to come in and stay forever, and for them all to have free health care. You have to be seriously intellectually impaired to follow their thinking.

And where did the heads of those governments go when they were really really sick?

“government healthcare”

Interesting that liberals can actually say that term with a straight face.

You are so correct. These idiots do not understand how much they will diminish life for everyone when they eliminate wealth and free opportunity as the bedrocks of American society.

Or maybe they do realize it.

Government healthcare means the government makes decisions about individuals’ treatment. Means the government kills the elderly to pay for aids treatment, sex “change” operations, euthanasia, and their sacrament, abortion.

The bad thing about socialized medicine is that its mission is to reduce costs, and the pyramid’s dome decides what treatments should be applied, and little by little it will lose quality if it ever comes to have it, and it would be a way to manage the population in favor of the ruling elite

Government has no business being in healthcare or education.

And I would add, business.

Logic is irrelevant to the true believing Rat!
If anything they are probably hostile to it.
Its consequences might make them uncomfortable.
All they want to do is emote!
Feed good about themselves and bask in the glory that others think they are good people!

I see the problem with our insurance industry. It’s a lousy system and a rip off to both sides, medical providers and patients. We need less middlemen and insurance only for major illnesses and accidents. And reasonable costs for procedures, tests, and drugs.

If we could limit the number of people in the country, you know, MAKE THE NUMBER LESS THAN INFINITE, we could put some sort of base coverage for the poorest of us. It would of absolute necessity be lower quality, and anyone with two cents to rub together would choose to do so to get better care. But it’s done in other countries and we could do it here. “Ward care” is what it’s called in Switzerland. It would be doable but not if the entire world had the same access to it.

We don’t have government healthcare? Really? What are Medicare, Medicaid, the VA medical system, IHS, etc.? We have plenty of government health care. What distinguishes the U.S. is that we also have a more robust private healthcare system than do most countries, which is why the U.S. leads the world in medical innovation, advanced care for the elderly, sophisticated prenatal care, and cutting edge treatments for so many diseases. These things, of course, are also expensive, which is why the U.S. system is more expensive compared to countries that deny care to many who routinely receive it here.

We have tons of government health care! Medicare, Medicaid, every state with its socialized low income thing...

I’d rather we phased it out but it’s a lie to say we don’t have it!

"We are the only industrialized nation on earth that does not have [socialist] government healthcare."

Medicaid and Medicare count as government healthcare. Obamacare is pseudo-government healthcare.

Just as you can’t judge a bill made by Congress by its title, bills known to not reasonably address what their titles indicate, just because a government boasts a "healthcare" department doesn’t necessarily mean that there is functional healthcare department.

And in the case of the constitutionally limited power U.S. federal government, even if there is a functional healthcare department, that doesn’t mean that the states have given the corrupt feds the express constitutional power to establish such a department.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
