The average cop on the street is just like anybody else. They don’t join up for the money or to grab your gun. Most join up because they want to help people.

I'm quite sure they don't join up to grab your guns, but if they are told to, they certainly will. A good example of this would be folks being charged while driving through NJ for having a firearm or even just a few bullets in their car.

I said most LE0’s do not have a problem with private citizens carrying weapons. I did not stray into the weeds to talk about state legislatures passing gun control bills. That’s a separate discussion.
