Black people in Baltimore, including a black journalist, have come to the defense of President Donald Trump after he spoke on the conditions of the city.
On Saturday President Trump correctly blamed Cummings for the state of his district which is in disarray and crime ridden.
“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous.
“His district is considered the Worst in the USA. As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded.
“Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place,” he said.
“Why is so much money sent to the Elijah Cummings district when it is considered the worst run and most dangerous anywhere in the United States.
“No human being would want to live there. Where is all this money going? How much is stolen? Investigate this corrupt mess immediately!” he said.
The people of Baltimore, including journalist Kimberly Klacik, are not interested in the race card Democrats are playing as they back the president.
“It is so sad to see @VictorBlackwell & @CNN turn the light currently shining on #WestBaltimore into a race issue,” she said.
This could result in a positive change. @RepCummings could help get his district in order. Listen to one of his constituents explain the ‘rats & rodents’ problem.”

I have never seen a more ugly, embittered facial expression than on Cummings face - aside from Rashida Tliab, of course. Dems are sick people in need of help, not Congressional seats.

Well, many of us remember how the friendly neighbourhood media told us back in about 1984 how people in the Soviet Union and East Bloc did not want Western style freedoms and markets (even though we knew there was a black market for Levis jeans and all sorts of other things we took for granted in North American and that people in East Germany and Poland and elsewhere like that liked watching American shows like “Dynasty” on TV with strong enough antennas to get those shows from Western Europe).

Al Green would give him a run for his money in the ugly and hateful department. But it is a close competition.
Remember the TV series “The Wire”? It took place and was filmed in Baltimore. Great TV show, but Baltimore is not attractive, even in a down-and out gritty way.
“Gritty” does not begin to describe Baltimore. It is way beyond gritty. If it tries very hard it can work it’s way up to gritty. It aspires to gritty.

If you go back to the early 1970s....there’s probably two or three billion dollars that has gone to Baltimore just for infrastructure (bridges, roads, buildings) alone. Public programs for the urban decay crowd....probably just as much.

Someone needs to make an ad with Cummings screaming at McAllenen and show clips of his district in between the rant.
That’s a nice shot at Cummings and all, but he’s been in that seat since 1996, and he tends to get between 70 and 90% of the vote.
