Many of the freshmen made promises to their base that they were going to impeach Trump. So now the Democrats have a problem. And they can’t control their extreme left socialist base that they need for 2020.

I believe that the Dems are having a difficult time "uniting" the different constituent parts of their party. I am not sure if blacks are receptive to impeaching President Trump. I would bet that a majority of blacks don't want impeachment, and that is the problem.

The hard core leftists want President Trump gone, not just impeached. President Trump is destroying Obama's legacy. He's destroying globalism and he is showing that conservatism works.

The blacks don't want impeachment. President Trump is doing great things for the black community...lowest black unemployment in history, etc.

That is why the Dem black leadership is pushing impeachment...trying to move the needle in the black community.

I hope the establishment GOP nitwits are paying attention - whoever the next Democratic president is, the calls for impeachment must begin before he or she is ever inaugurated and must continue relentlessly throughout the Democrat's presidency. The Democrats have proven that impeachment is simply a political tactic, it requires absolutely no reason other than personal dislike and political opportunity and there is no need for plausibility, let alone proof.

The Democrats have turned the Constitutional procedure of impeachment into a farce - they should be made to pay for it in exactly the same coin.

One of the Republican Representatives on the House Judiciary Committee needs to give Nadler a box marked “Acme Impeachment Kit”. In it would be the Mueller Report and a hamburger bun.

GOPe is the winner of Mueller probe. They gave it the greenlight and successfully used the probe to bully Trump.

It's the majority votes the Democrats were drooling over to attain.

Grounds? What grounds? A charge? What does it matter? Articles of Impeach wouldn't matter what they said, so long as they got their impeachment vote.

They never expected to see him removed through a Republican Senate anyway, so what would it matter how substantially or insubstantially any Article of Impeachment read?

Impeachment was facing a double clock:

1. The Democrats needed to remove President Trump before he and the public found out the truth about the extent of the Obama domestic spying operation.
2. The Democrats needed to remove President Trump before Ruth Bader Ginsburg died.

The clocks are still ticking.
