then the media picks up on the twitter created story and this creates more twitter activity so you have feedback loop bubble

this is pushing the left even more left and out of touch with much of America

Another reason is the decidedly leftist tilt of the top management and many employees of Twitter. They seem to go out of their way to favor leftist opinions and posters. Their censorship algorithms and employees reviewing those issues seem to pick on conservative posters much more than leftists.

So the bias of Twitter itself also plays an important role.
