Kathy Zhu has landed on her feet after losing her title as "Miss Michigan," taking a position on the "Women for Trump Coalition Advisory Board".

The announcement came shortly after Zhu, a University of Michigan student and president of her campus' College Republicans chapter, posted about the Miss World America pageant's decision to strip her of her title.

The termination letter, which Zhu posted on her Twitter timeline, claimed she violated the pageant's requirement to be "of good character and ... not likely to disrepute Miss World America or any person associated with the organization."

“Everything that I’ve posted was my statistics and opinions, and I think that we should be empowering women’s voices and not just stripping them of their title only because of their opinions,” she said during an interview with CNN.

I do expect her to be a lot more competent than Omarosa, though, given that she is a student at Michigan, whereas Omarosa went to Howard, despite the 200-point SAT advantage that blacks get over whites at prestigious schools like Harvard:

Asian-Americans only receive a recruitment letter if they score at least 250 points higher — 1350 for women, and 1380 for men. There's an arc of ever-expanding pushback going on. When all this institutionalized bullying, doxing and whatnot became pervasive I recall people being shocked and taken aback. That sort of stuff used to be primarily aimed at politicians and other public figures, not private citizens, so there were people who got intimidated, melted away. Not so much these days - the shock is over, replaced by a sense of purpose. The thuggery more often than not now creates another commando for the Trump army. And it's broadening - saw Michael Caputo on some show a night or two back - he related how lawyers were telling him and others to keep their heads down, don't be going around speaking out about the Mueller stuff, or they could run the risk of being yanked back in, running up attorneys fees and all. Caputo was like, screw all the dirty SOBs, he's gonna do and say what he wants now and they can go to hell. The organized thuggery doesn't have the bite it once had.
