Ex-Miss Michigan stripped of title over offensive tweets joins Trump reelection effort

Kathy Zhu, the former Miss Michigan winner who was stripped of her title over tweets deemed "offensive, insensitive and inappropriate," is joining President Trump's reelection campaign.
"I am so excited to now be part of the #WomenforTrump Coalition Advisory Board! Let's get Trump re-elected for 2020," Zhu tweeted Thursday, retweeting a post from the official Trump reelection campaign Twitter welcoming her to the board.

She is a Chinese immigrant in Michigan, which puts her in a very good position to reach out to Michigan voters and immigrants.
Her "racist" tweets are par for the course for a Chinese immigrant to say. There are very, very few in her community that would disagree with her tweets.

Her “racist” tweet was citing surveys and academic studies showing that blacks commit a huge proportion of crimes compared to their population.
Citing studies is now considered racist.
The word had been thrown aroundr so often that it has in effect, become meaningless.
