Congress, in its’ Constitutional role considering impeachment is not bound by the Rules of Criminal Procedure.

And is co-equal to the courts and the executive.

If they cite the information is for the purposes of Impeachment, any court in the land will approve subpoena for Grand Jury information by the FULL HOUSE.

But not a committee.

Rule 6(e) is not law and Congress is not bound by it.

Seem to be conflicting signals from Nadler and Pelosi today. In court papers, Nadler says impeachment investigation is formally underway. That has not been Pelosi’s message. (link: http://ow.ly/yySm50vdcnr) ow.ly/yySm50vdcnr
