Barr has the docs and the DOJ doesn't act on criminal cases based on the election cycle.
If anything, they stop all political related investigations several months before an election.

It is Deep State that is dragging its feet. They are running out the clock. The release of the unredacted documents would put a stake thru the heart of impeachment and shift the focus to the attempted coup.
I am sick and tired of hearing that the ongoing coup attempt is confined to a handful to top leaders. It literally takes hundreds if not thousands of people to pull this off. And there were thousands more in Deep State who knew what was/is going on.

Agree with this. If you look through comments on twitter, you’ll find that those who drive the coup still want forward action. I didn’t see that much support for it from the “base”. So the dementing leaders of the party are making the motions knowing they have no choice but to keep beating the drum.
In the fall, they’ll manufacture some other strategy/evidence to throw at the wall.
Nadler and the rest of the ‘impeachment’ dems, know that no impeachment will ever occur.
This is all about appeasing their radical left-of-center party members who wanted Trump gone. But, it ain’t gonna happen. Not this year and not ever.
Second reason for impeachment rhetoric is to try to keep Trump off-balance and distracted from carrying on his presidential duties. All in the hopes of keeping him from adding any more ‘wins’ to his agenda, which would help him in the 2020 race. Enough is enough, Mr President! Says Nadler and Pelosi. Can’t have you further ruining our chances of winning the presidency in 2020 and our chances of retaining the house!
So, harassment must continue, which is the only thing that democrats are good at.
There must be a point at where the courts and/or some other government entity can say, ‘enough already with this harassment’, since that’s all the democrats can hope for. It’s not getting anywhere and it doesn’t server the American people and ‘there ought to be a law’, or congress should create a law to stop this kind of harassment; it’s not ‘oversight’, which democrats keep pointing to as the excuse for what they’re doing.
I remain skeptical that Barr is one of the good guys. I need to see results. Ditto for Grahamnesty. He says he is waiting for the IG report. I suspect that Horowitz will give us another wish washy, toothless report that will protect the institution and provide a laundry list of process recommendations.

I think Trump has lost control of the process. Barr, Horowitz, Durham, and Wray are running things. Are they friends or foes? Only time will tell.

Agree. Note too how we have the “wonderful rank and file FBI agents” while at the same time every single ICE agent is a “concentration camp guard.” The media and political class bias could not be stronger.
