“Trump’s District judges look downright frightening...58 of the 86 nominations were confirmed by a voice vote or with the support of at least 20 Democrat Senators.”

I wouldn’t call it ‘frightening’ and I’m not even sure it’s bad. If go you back to at least Bush Sr., when I started following this crap, the Democrat Senate sailed through virtually every District Judge, but when it came to Appellate Judges, it was TOTALLY DIFFERENT, and nominations languished for years and in many cases they expired and the seats were filled by Clinton. In other words the Democrats FIGHT MUCH HARDER at the higher levels. I have no reason to suspect that it’s any different now. Trump is getting his nominees from the Federalist Society, and there are very few conservative voices complaining about his overall picks (in fact, I can’t think of a single one).

Having said that, I will concede there have been some screw-ups, like when he almost let Wifi have two 9th Circuit picks in exchange for letting some others through, but people spoke up and IT WAS STOPPED and Trump’s picks for that court are better than any Republican before him, and it’s just starting to show up in some of their judgements. And yes, I’m sure Trump let some crappy District Judges through...but not too many, but what Republican president has done better - even Reagan put Sandra Dee on the Supreme Court?

Judges of the 9th circuit, sanctuary cities, worst income inequality, homelessness en mass and generating medieval diseases.

California major topic in 2020 races. All house and Senate races, not just POTUS.
