I agree 100%, we need to recognize China is not our friend, they are a real competitor and enemy....
Back during the Cold War we did little to no trading with the USSR, we should take the same approach with China.
Cut them off, trade on our terms where possible, otherwise nothing.....

You are probably right. If Trump cuts a deal, it won’t be until after he wins a second term. And even then I think the probability is less than 0.5
