I don’t have any sympathy for him. I read his fan club thread[s] previously posted. My sympathy is for the poor souls that he trumped up charges on and imprisoned, knowing they were innocent. Along with Roger Stone , Paul Manafort, and General Flynn. I understand that I am in the minority but....

Mueller was aware of why he was there, what was being asked, where he was, the time and when to run down the clock, who was asking (despite the squirrely where?!?) and what was expected of him. This performance gave him a get out of jail card when this thing blows up.
And?
The effect was he blew up the possibility of impeachment
1. He inadvertently blew-up impeachment while, at the same time,
2. He also played dumb enough to elicit sympathy of possible prosecution down the road.
It’s not an “either/or” outcome.
Mueller has a LONG history of being a dirty cop & traitor and protecting Hellary..and both should hang from a tall tree.

I agree totally-I’m not a lawyer, but as a case manager I’ve seen more than one client dissemble, pretend to be confused, stoned etc, trying to get more psychotropic drugs, more weeks of out-of-work time-and/or a bigger workers comp check. In my opinion Mueller was faking and playing artful dodger to cover his ass as much as he was able-he knew when he agreed to speak at that hearing that he was now the democrats’ designated sacrificial offering-that act of his was a survival strategy...

I can say all that because I spent 6 and a 1/2 years taking care of someone who went in-and-out of dementia

Consider that he is a big faker
Before that happens Mueller deserves to be indicted for his part in the coup and the lies he told in front of Congress. He deserves to be on the receiving end of a highly publicized 5 AM SWAT raid like the ones he authorized for Manafort and Roger Stone.
