Sorry for his wife, but he literally destroyed the life of a 7 year old girl.. its a shame his wife will have to pay for his sins.... but that’s no reason to lock him up... frankly 4 years is and a few ground is not nearly enough

The doctor for Laney's wife corroborated provided a statement saying the loss of her primary caregiver would result in "serious consequences to her health and well-being." As a former Disney VP, he's got lots of money to pay for a caregiver. No sympathy here.

Abuse one girl and it's jail time.
Abuse several hundreds and you spend decades hobnobbing with the rich and famous.

Even after the $4000 fine?
Seriously, the penalties for this crime really need to be ramped-up. It's only a life sentence because he's 73. If he were 32 it would be a parking ticket.

Wow, that’s just 20 1/4 months per rape. Assuming he serves all of it (which won’t happen).
Let me guess, the judge thinks he’s too old to rape again so it makes no sense to jail him longer....

This is really puzzling language:
“The court was not able to prove those allegations against Laney.”
Are they saying he was not exonerated when they couldn’t prove he did it? Like he was presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty?
