I’m not sure what they were watching, but every rational adult saw a sputtering, unsure, and evasive old man trying hard to survive the questioning. Nothing in the report changed, no new information arose, and nothing in the report demonstrates a crime committed by President Trump. Their BEST argument is that he once mentioned possibly firing Comey... but never doing it. Every witness, document request, and evidentiary request was satisfied. That’s not obstruction (and without any actual underlying crime, it’s even thinner gruel for them to nourish their drones).
The bottom line is, in the end, few minds were changed. The waters are just as muddy as ever.
