but, granted it’s small and my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but I’m only seeing a single lion on the Turnberry logo seen at the top of the home page here:

The same two-headed eagle was used by Austria-Hungary. And Albania (see the Albanian flag).
Its origin comes from when the Roman empire was divided between East and West (Rome and Byzantium), so that the single Roman eagle was divided into a two-headed one.
