This is all about illegals. 4 to 5 families in a single family house. Illegal but not enforced.
It is also about the tent dwellers living down by LAX. Also huge explosion of homeless in wealthy places like Silicon Vsllay. I like the freedom to subdivide. We inquired a few years ago about scraping a two-on-a-lot and building a fourplex, like other properties on the same block. We were told that this was NEVER approved in our city. We sold and bought a six unit in a different city. That lot had been changed from single family to multi in the 70s. Our property provides a home for several working lower middle class families. I’m happy we can do that. More people should have the option.
