350 million is enough.
No it is. Very much. It’s about social justice and communism. And sustainable housing. They want everyone packed into cities and half the country rewilded. Using public transportation and living in apartments. This movement has a long history on the west coast. https://www.technocracy.news/unsustainable-single-family-housing-declared-racist/
I lived in SoCal for 10 years, back when you could let your kids have picnics on Santa Monica/Marina del Rey beach after dark without worrying. That was in ...hmm...late ‘60s-early-’70s. Now you cannot walk down that beach in broad daylight without a Doberman Pincer, preferably two.
So very grateful to have lived in that beautiful place when we did.
Yep, but you can bet Gov threesome Newsome will NOT allow such a thing to happen in his exclusive, private neighborhood...they will come up with some restriction for the elite. He is too good for the gorgeous Victorian Gov Mansion in Sactramento that we paid millions to restore and update......
It’s strange seeing freepers bash allowing people more freedom to do what they want with their own property.
Yes, sec 8 in nice neighborhoods because nobody should be denied Beverly Hills just because they cant afford it......remember, equality means everyone is equally miserable.
This would have an ENORNMOUS effect in California if enacted. So I doubt it will be for many years.
Wow. In Fremont? Amazing.
Well, it's a dirty trick to pull on people who bought a house in a nice neighborhood with the assurance that it should remain one. But the minute the people on either side of you convert their home to a four-plex, rent it to lower income folks, take the cash and retire elsewhere, becoming an absentee landlord, your quality of life starts to drop dramatically, along with the value of your house. If you bought into the neighborhood with the understanding that this would never happen... and then oh, guess what, the state has just decided it shall happen... yeah, that's quite a bait and switch.
Cant build third-world slums without having at least 20 people living in a house. Plus, those building codes are really irritating.
Is it nationwide? No, it isn't. If CA wants to do this who cares?
Also, would you rather live on the streets or in an apartment?
I see this as an attempt at tackling the homelessness crisis in CA. CA, with all of its envirowacko laws and limited space, they have nowhere to go but build upwards.
There was a house rented to Stanford students for 15 or 20 years a block over from us. It always looked like that. Horrendous eyesore and blight on the entire neighborhood.
Keep voting democrat Calofornia.
Gotta make more cheap housing for all the illegals our tax dollars support.
Your photo with all the cars on the lawn is what will happen. I was going to ask how all the extra cars would be accommodated.
Northern Michigan springs and summers are divine. Low humidity. Perfect. Only place other than here that was this awesome was on the Black Sea in the Mediterranean.
After that we have the nicest people, the most incredible fresh produce costing next to nothing, flags everywhere, people open doors for each other, neighbor means something here.
After 28 years in Washington state this is heaven. Culture matters. Hard winters are definitely ours but everyone helps each other.
Good luck in your leftist
state. We could not be happier that we left one. I hope you make out ok in the end...
The Democrat Party will tear down these symbols of Tsarist brutality, and has a 5 Year Plan to provide all homeless a socially approved apartment, with a limit of two families per unit, in Victorious Stalingrad #24 housing complex, with a bathroom for every four apartments. There will follow another Five Year plan to have running water, at least every third day...
The People's Electric Collective, using only renewable sources, promise power at least 2 hours a day.
We must thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week.
Long Live Bernie! (Gunshot)
Kali is all about destroying families.
Oh ho. Just wait and watch.
this will just make it easier for the statists to assign extra people to your house because you, honky, don’t need that big of house to yourself...
