On the one hand, doing a major Christmas decorating project is a huge job, and it’s never too early to start. On the other hand, thinking about December when it’s 100 degrees out is a bit of a mental vacation. Our Webelos Adventure Camp theme was “Winter in July.” Didn’t make it any less hot, but there were winter-themed skits.

This Christmas in July nonsense will be over soon. It’s ruining the usual good lineup on XM 148 old time radio.

I think it interferes with Psych reruns on Hallmark.

Christmas is a time of year I dread. Long story.

For my wife starting early it is a frugality thing. Shopping in the summer while decorations and winter season gifts are cheap. lol
