Fisherman pulls Uzi submachine gun out of canal in London

“Special Underwater Assault Rifle”

Jimmy Hoffa will be next
Surprised the cops didn’t arrest him for illegal possession or some other Romney law.
Those weren’t the rules I meant, but there’s nothing wrong with them.
Was the Uzi called “Excalibur”?
Hi.
I’d just like to say...
“The unnamed individual called the police “
Is a very dumb unnamed individual.
5.56mm
Aside: the other day while not looking for them I found my glasses that had been missing for about a year....
= = = = = = = = = =
Were they on your forehead?
OR.....
I will bet they are right where you (or someone) left them.
There are literally hundreds of magnet fishing videos where one or more guns get found on youtube. However, most of the time the gun is found under a bridge, do I doubt boats were involved.
Of course.
I’d put them someplace safe, on top of a 4-stack Globe-Wernicke metal barrister bookcase ... which works out to some inches above eye level even as tall as I’m.
Magnet fishing, I think Ive found a new hobby.
I’d say it’s not a keeper.
“WHY would one call the cops???!”

I would not want (under normal conditions) to be found with a gun that could possibly be traced back to a crime.
Isn’t that why they’re discarded like that?
“...and he was immediately arrested by the police.”
Hey, why not? Plenty of folks are even making a living off of it posting their magnet fishing videos to youtube.
Is it a Taxachusetts thing?
Forget it, Jake - it’s Taxachusetts.
Easily altered with a few strokes of a file.
Isnt that why theyre discarded like that?
Not in this case.
This sounds like someone got rid of a collection.
Most criminals would not dump their guns in a pond in an affluent area. They would drive over a bridge and toss the weapon while they drive by in the dark.
Most criminals would also not use high end weapons like a Colt Python or an Uzi. These guns are worth at least twice as much as the average 9 or 10 mm semi-auto pistols.
My guess is that someone local had a relative die and they did not know what to do with the gun collection. The pond was the obvious answer (in their mind).
Some Dutch guys found a AK-47
Urban waterways, no matter what country, seem to be the most productive.
