These results don’t tell us which side’s policies the public favors as a solution to the immigration crisis, merely that they recognize that there is a crisis.

But since one party’s presidential nominee wants to throw everything he’s got at closing the border, from a wall to asylum reform to new “safe third country” agreements with neighbors, and the other party’s leading voices seem to want to open the border to such an insane degree that even liberal pundits have begun scratching their heads, I’m guessing this boils down to “Advantage: Trump

There is absolutely no logic and absolutely no sanity to open borders.

I’m pretty sure that the vast majority of people do not favor open border and don’t share the democrats’ opinion on the issue. So, yeah, no-brainer which favors Trump.

NBC News poll found the same thing 3 days ago.

Illegal immigration, health care and the economy/jobs

1, 2, 3.

Trump can easily run on all three and hammer Dems who want to give illegals amnesty, want to let a million plus of them in every year, and want to pay for their health care and abortions, too.

And the economy is booming.

Best job growth for blacks and Hispanics, EVAH!

We MUST replace the Bush league Republicans that want to give the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty for illegal aliens.

Flimsey Grahamnesty tops that list.

Check Omar's text in the article and remember the people and their message, in her photo!

The same people who think it's their right to lawlessly invade and live in someone else's country today, will in the not to distant future think it's also their right to lawlessly invade and live in someone else home.

“If the crisis were to persist another 15 months, good luck to POTUS arguing that he should get another four years to try to handle an emergency which he couldn’t handle in two.”

Complete F-ing BS, like it’s Trump’s fault that Congress refuses to appropriate funds for a border wall and reform our insane laws that encourage this. The again, it’s that PoSd antitrumper, Allahpundit writing this crap.

Zuckerberg has publicly called for open borders. If I were to successfully jump the fence surrounding his $500 million estate I wonder how far I'd get before I was shot dead by his armed guards?

The logic is dependent poor people are easily manipulated into voting for democrats.

If we don’t get third world illegals out of our country the Republican party will cease to exist. The country as we know it will cease to exists and what was once a grand experiment will become a third world hellhole.

Gallup knows which side this falls on...and since they’re NOT saying I assume you’re right - the people are supporting Trump.

Your post about covers the situation regarding the financed foreign invasion of the US. Every elected congress person, regardless of political party, receives a paycheck from the US Govt taxpayers to help the US President address this threat to the sovereignty of this Republic. Our military has fought and died to preserve the boundaries of other countries and is not allowed to secure the borders of their own country. Treason is the reason. No doubt in my mind as to why this invasion is not stopped. Both major parties have persons with a personal interest in stopping Pres Trump and the only thing citizens can do to reclaim our borders is to vote the lot of them out. And with voter fraud rampant, Pres Trump winning the 2020 election will be a challenge. To say the least.

The logic is dependent poor people are easily manipulated into voting for democrats.

While that is PART of the problem, the plan and problem is vastly more sinister.

The logic, which democrats were able to master and implement, includes the takeover of the education system (nationwide) and the media and the unions and the wowen's votes and the minority votes, via free-stuff and "feeling their pains". As republicans, we can't promise the 'free stuff' and feeling their pains is just a lie to buy their hearts. But, the least educated and the easily manipulated are made more dependent with the 'free stuff' and 'feeling their pains'. They are rendered too dumb to notice that they can never break out of their dependence and out of poverty, ALL OF WHICH IS PART OF the SINISTER PLAN by the liberals/socialists/communists.
